Dane Goodwin

Dane is the Chief Operating Officer at Whirly Labs, where he oversees the company’s operations and strategy and leads the Information Security assessment team. His primary goal is to create an environment that fosters innovative thinking and collaboration, enabling our consultants to deliver excellent work to customers.

With a Computer Science degree, and a strong background in software development, security consulting, and operations management, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise and management acumen to his role. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a talent for finding innovative solutions to solve complex problems. Most recently, these have been focused on streamlining business operations, making it easy to manage the complexities of security consulting.

Outside of work, Dane is active in the South African Information Security community, contributing to 0xcon, 0xc0ffee Pretoria, and BSides Johannesburg.
